PhD thesis:  "Cauchy problem and smoothing effects for dispersive nonlinear partial differential equations". PhD adviser: Jean-Michel Ghidaglia at the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan.
October 1994: I got a CNRS position as Chargé de Recherches in Bordeaux.
December 17th,  1996: Habilitation à diriger des recherches, University Bordeaux 1.
September 1997: Full professor position at the university of Bordeaux 1.
September 2005: Elected as junior member of the Institut Universitaire de France.
