Research Interests
I am currently a professor of applied mathematics with IMB.
I am interested in mathematical problems related to image processing. My main research interests are:
- Mathematical modeling of images (additive and multiplicative decomposition, spatial adaptivity).
- Texture modeling (functional spaces, wavelets, copy-paste methods).
- Remote sensing images (irregular sampling, resolution invariance, characteristic scale).
- Non conventional imaging devices with non Gaussian noise (Cone beam Tomography, Positron Emission tomography, Synthetic Aperture Radar images). Applications to medical imaging.
I received the Habilitation thesis from ENS Cachan : "Variationnal methods in image processing".
